📋 About Chain of Custody Form

This form tracks the chain of custody of electronic devices seized as evidence, from the scene of crime through forensic examination to court submission.

Maintaining an unbroken chain of custody is critical to prove that the evidence has not been tampered with or contaminated at any stage.

Section 193(3)(i) of BNSS, 2023 mandates proper documentation of the handling of electronic evidence.
